ITU has been awarded funding from the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Modules for the EULead_SusMan project. The project, focusing on sustainability management, will start on January 1, 2025, and will run for three years.

The "European Leadership for Sustainability Management – EULead_SusMan" project, which will be coordinated by Istanbul Technical University (ITU), has been awarded funding of 30,000 euros under the European Union Erasmus+ Program's Jean Monnet Activities Jean Monnet Modules call. The project will start on January 1, 2025, and will run for three years.

The project will be led by Prof. Dr. Hatice Camgöz Akdağ, Head of the ITU Department of Management Engineering. Additionally, ITU Management Ph.D. student Nur Eradlı will serve as the project manager and researcher.

The EULead_SusMan project aims to develop an innovative teaching module comprising courses titled "Leadership for European Sustainability Management." It also seeks to create an open-access database and an informative booklet on the European Green Deal and European Union (EU) sustainability policies.

Furthermore, the project will involve collaboration with EU researchers to organize public seminars, promote the dissemination of sustainability management to broader audiences, and examine the impact of case studies on education in detail.
